Long Island High Score Awards Association
Is an organization that was founded to recognize and promote all those who participate in the equestrian sport of Hunters, Jumpers and Equitation on Long Island. Their successes are celebrated and rewarded at our year end annual dinner dance in conjunction with the LIPHA.
The LIHSAA Specifications have been updated. Please download the new specs for all future horse shows!
LIHSAA 2017 Specifications and Forms can be downloaded from the Printable Documents Page.
Riders MUST BE A LIHSAA MEMBER and must have competed in a minimum of 6 shows in order for their points to count towards 2017 year end awards!
Membership Registration deadline is Extended to June 30, 2017.
An email was sent out in error, saying that the membership deadline was July 31, 2017 not May 31, 2017. Due to this email, some riders may not have sent in their forms yet. In order to avoid any confusion, the cutoff date has been changed to June 30, 2017. If you are not a member as of July 1, 2017, your points will not count and you will lose your placement and award if you membership has not been received.
Riders must Register each year. Please go to the Printable Document Page and download the LIHSAA Membership Form, complete the form and send it to Ellen Smith with a $5.00 membership fee.
Short Stirrup Equitation Division will no longer be receiving medals, they will be awarded Ribbons in accordance to their points. Riders must be members of LIHSAA and have competed in a minimum of 6 shows.
All awards will be given out at the LIPHA Dinner Dance.
